The kids had a great time after the kite making morning at the Ceardlann in Spideal.

Lucy did actually manage to fly the kite a great deal, despite what this looks like.

Sophie figured that if she would fly, so would the kite.

This picture, like all posted today, where taken this winter. It was really cold, fosty, snowy, dangerous, and beautiful!

The river, or stream, that we took this picture at had grown huge ice formations. They do not come well in the picture though.

The is Seipeal Mhic Dara in Carraroe, Co. Galway, Ireland.

The lake in Carraroe, it looked amazing too. You see it everyday, some days more lovely than the other, but when it was nearly all frozen over it looked amazing.

Sophie taking eating her ice cream very seriously!

Here is Lucy doing a slow motion view of eating ice cream.

This is a picture of one of the bases of the Newport bridge. Once upon a time there was a train track upon this sturdy leg.

You can make out the brick layout of the train track here.

On top of the bridge you can see alot of Newport village. The most beautiful part though is the river that runs through it and the trees to the left of the river as you enter Newport from Castlebar.

When Lucy saw this old Eircom phone box she had to use the phone, when she did though she just stood silently listen to it.
